David Meyer Named President of eNeighborhoods:
Boca Raton, FL (May 17, 2004) - eNeighborhoods, Inc., the nation's premier compiler and provider of home and neighborhood information products for real estate professionals, today announced the promotion of David Meyer to company President.
Mr. Meyer, 34, a co-founder of eNeighborhoods, had acted as the company's Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Meyer's role and responsibilities have increased over the past few years, leading to this appointment.
"As one of the co-founders of this company, Dave has been instrumental in getting the company to where it is today. In the past few years, I have relied on him more and more to get involved in all aspects of the company, way beyond just the technology functions. He has handled each challenge with enthusiasm and diligence," said Stu Siegel, CEO and co-founder of eNeighborhoods.
As the primary author and architect of the eNeighborhoods software in 1996, Mr. Meyer combined knowledge of GIS systems and neighborhood related data to produce a unique product. He subsequently grew the technology department at eNeighborhoods to be a leader in the field. When eNeighborhoods acquired ConsumerInfo.com in 2000, the board selected Meyer to move to ConsumerInfo's Orange County location to spearhead and manage the transformation of technology that precipitated 300% growth of that unit from 15 million to 45 million dollars.
Mr. Meyer is a graduate of the prestigious Management and Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania, achieving dual degrees from both the Wharton School of Business and the Moore School of Engineering.
Mr. Meyer resides in Highland Beach, Florida with his wife.
