General Purpose of Job
DBA will be responsible for the day to day operations, maintenance, availability and performance of the all production databases in a 24x7 production environment.

Configure and support the SQL server databases
Develop, monitor and maintain ETL processes using SSIS according to best practices
Capacity planning and backup/recovery activities
Create and maintain Publications and Subscriptions for Replication
Setup and manage SQL Cluster
Performs problem resolution and root cause analysis on database issues
Performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting database servers
Other duties as required by management

Essential Functions
50% - Maintain and Oversee Production Database environment
50% - Performance Tuning, Backup Recovery and Disaster Recovery planning

Qualifications/Requirements
In-Depth T-SQL and SQL Server Management Experience
Advanced knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting
SQL DBA Experience on Very Large Databases (VLDB)
Experience in setting up a Replication Topology
Experience in setting up SQL Server Cluster

Education
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent job experience

Physical Demands:
Must be able to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time
